I would like to dedicate this post to my awesome dad, Ron Boles. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting my dad, I will tell you a bit about him. He’s funny, smart, wise, caring, loving and fairly easy going.
I would tell you more, but I don’t want to make you jealous.

I do my best to be a good daughter. And this Mother’s Day, I’m going all out…it is a full 5 days before and I’m getting my card in the mail to Mom!
I’m bragging because in my family, sending cards out on time is not a skill anyone has mastered. I’ve received birthday cards from my Dad in July. My birthday is in April. But hey, if I get something within the year, it’s all good.
The fact that my mom will get a mama’s day card from me so close to the actual day might even earn me more “good daughter” points. (And send her into shock!)

Hello.
This is an educational post. It is not meant to offend, belittle, or piss anyone off. I aim to enlighten.
As you know, I’m an entertainer at a dueling piano bar in Long Beach. We play people’s song requests and make them sing along. I am fully aware that I inspire the crowd to request songs by certain artists. The fact that I field at least 5 Alicia Keys song requests per night is a given.
Under no circumstances will I ever learn “Gimme That Nut” by Eazy E. So, give up on that dream.
